Wheat Grass Fact Sheet

Wheat grass is known to be one of the best sources of beta-carotene and is converted by the body to Vitamin A, which assists in fighting a whole range of specific ailments. It is an antioxidant, thought to protect the body against some types of cancer and to be beneficial to the immune system. Wheat grass is also a source of iron, folic acid and Vitamin B-12, all necessary for healthy red blood cells and immunity. It also contains over 20% vegetable protein, as well as Vitamin C and a variety of trace minerals - all vital to immune health.
Juicing is the most effective way to get the benefits of wheat grass, especially among people who are establishing a daily regime as part of an illness recovery plan. For example, an ounce of wheat grass juice is said to be equivalent to 2 1/2 lbs. of green, leafy vegetables.
What about Allergies?

However, if you are recovering from an illness and need several ounces of juice per week, we will work with you around a plan for an ongoing supply that you can afford, either a personal order to be grown under lights at the farm or we will help you set up growing trays in your home.
